Experiment(s): Determination of polarization angle or Brewster’s angle and refractive index of the sample Experiment setup consists of:
a) Optical bench Goniometer – ½ m length optical bench fitted with 360° circular scale with glass or acrylic slide fitted on rotatable bed
b) Semiconductor diode Laser (LAS-301) with power supply, 3 mW and 625 nm wavelength output
c) Pin-hole photo detector – Detects intensity of Laser beam using a photo diode
d) Laser Power meter – Displays light intensity in terms of mW, input from photo detector
